Overview
Interactive fiction that puts you in the seat of a product manager at a fintech firm building an AI credit scoring algorithm. Branching choices and ethical dilemmas surface ideas like algorithmic bias, transparency, fairness, and the social fallout of decisions made by AI systems.
The Problem
AI ethics tends to get taught in slides. I wanted to see if interactive storytelling could land the same ideas more directly.
The Approach
Built a branching narrative with multiple decision points and consequences. Each choice updates a scoring system that tracks where you sit across different ethical dimensions. At the end, you get a shareable card summarising the approach you took.
Outcome
Turned out to be a much more engaging way to explore these topics than I expected. The scenarios make abstract concepts concrete and push you to actually sit with the trade-offs.
